Accessing the Live Map
The Live Map is available from multiple locations in FleetView:
1. Main Navigation
Click "Live Map" in the main navigation menu to access the full-screen map view.
2. Dashboard Widget
View a compact map on your dashboard showing all active vehicles.
3. Vehicle Details
Click any vehicle name to see its individual location on the map.
Understanding the Map Interface
Map Controls
Use +/- buttons or mouse wheel to zoom in and out
Switch between Standard, Satellite, and Terrain views
Automatically center map to show all vehicles
Auto-follow a selected vehicle as it moves
Vehicle Markers
Each vehicle is represented by a colored marker on the map. The marker shows:
- β’Color: Status indicator (Green = Moving, Blue = Idle, Gray = Offline)
- β’Direction: Arrow shows vehicle heading
- β’Label: Vehicle name/ID (can be toggled on/off)
Filtering Vehicles
Use filters to focus on specific vehicles or groups:
Status Filter
Show only vehicles that are moving, idle, or offline.
Group Filter
Filter by vehicle groups (e.g., "Delivery Trucks", "Service Vans", "Sales Team")
Search
Type vehicle name, driver name, or license plate to quickly find specific vehicles
Viewing Route History
Track where your vehicles have been with detailed route history:

- 1. Click on any vehicle marker on the map
- 2. Select "View History" from the vehicle info popup
- 3. Choose your date and time range
- 4. The route will display as a colored line on the map
History Playback
Use the playback controls to see vehicle movement over time:

- β’ β© Adjust playback speed (1x, 2x, 5x, 10x)
- β’ β±οΈ Jump to specific timestamps
- β’ π View speed and location data at any point

Share real-time location of specific vehicles with customers or team members via secure link.
